Sitúo a las series en su posedad dorada. Brotan a centenares sobre una altiplanicie. La calidad sigue estando, es solo que interesa en la medida en que lo hace su audiencia.
Para atraer a todos los segmentos las plataformas requieren de un banco audiovisual variado, con mucha opción de usar y tirar, de llamativos diseños y poca chica (que llamen a atención y den para meme o que ofrezcan una escena impactante que justifique el resto del -no- episodio).
Por eso hay que apoyar a las obras pequeñas y medianas, para que no sean cada vez más excepcionales.
Recreando el final de los años sesenta, Pepe Coira y Fran Araújo escriben una miniserie de entonces con pizcas de ahora, y la dirigen con corazón (y con Alejandro Marín, al que ya queremos ver en otra producción propia). Un corazón con soplos alrededor de un tema histórico.
La canción es una obra con encanto y que, no obstante, camina con torpezas evitables. Anda con los zapatos desatados y el jardincito por momentos se le hace un laberinto inglés.

Hay personajes reales e inventados, aunque en una ficción todo es ilusión. Es ley. Así que no voy a separar aquí qué sí y qué no. Patrick Criado borda al desvelado funcionario encargado de ganar Eurovisión, exagera un poco la expresión pero esa vena también se agradece. Sagardoy, por una vez afable y tierno, al periodista disfrutón, y Yuste hace lo de siempre: reinar. (Y la collares collarea.)
Un tirano deseando un lavado de cara continental, ganar para tener algo que uniera al pueblo. Ya lo había, en su contra: teníamos dignidad.
